Strngth in numbers fight the outrageous Price, by Gasguzzlers reply  Aug 12, '09 4:56 PM
ABOUT FUELTRIBE INC.
FuelTribe.ca is Canada’s first and only online gasoline buyers group
formed by people frustrated by the volatility and unreasonableness of fuel
prices. It is not affiliated with any gasoline vendors.

The Price of the Barrel of Oil should DIRECTLY reflect the price you pay per Liter So if the Barrel price is 48.00 then you should pay 48 cents per Liter.
Now see how they are Ripping your hard earning Money from your pocket? Sure the financial troubles of the world caused the barrel to drop but this let them widen the difference of the price you pay for Gas.

This could be a potential Group that may bring Canada a better Gas pump Price, I encourage everyone to tell everyone to register.

Why is Kitchener avg 93.9 to 99.8? are they nuts?
why did it sit at 88.9 or so for abouttwo weeks and never go lower when the barrel was at 62 centsper liter? ever wonder well now conteract them with retalliation group :)

The Differtence in Price., by Senzue reply  Jul 21, '09 7:08 PM
Why is it that last weekend Simcoe price was around 93. a liter & in Kitchner Ont. you could buy it at one of their station for 83. a liter, thats a substancial difference on a liter, & since a liter is four & half time smaller then a imperial gallon this repersnts 45 cents saving on a gallon. This point might be lost on the younger generation, but as an old fart i can remember when we thought a dollar for a gallon was absaloutly rediculous.

The Gas price Situation now., by Senzue reply  Apr 21, '09 4:15 PM
Will it's been a little while since i last wrote, it seams that now that it is Driving season the gas companies figure it's their right to raise gas prices again; the thing about this, this year is that demand for gas is lask luster, & the price of a barrel of oil is now down around $44. U.S a barrel, so this means that the gas compaines input cost have gone down as well. The price of gas does not relectwhat i figure should be somthere in the order of .60 cent a liter now, would be much more realistic a price to charge, but the gas companies, think they ought to pad the price of gas some more. Did some one forget to tell them we are in a recession?

Are We Getting gas at the right Price?, by Senzue reply  Jan 22, '09 10:46 PM
I noticed that demand for gas is really low right now & it is starting to pile up at the depots where they store the stuff,so why is the price of gas going up, instead of down. The price should be at least 20 cents cheaper at the pumps,if not even lower, have the Gas Companies not heard that there is a recession on right on now.

Why the disconnected from a barrel of Oil now., by Senzue reply  Sep 17, '08 4:05 PM
Let begin by saying that the reason i mention a Barrel of oil, is that we where told that the price of gas at the pumps, had to go up proptionaly to the price of an barrel of oil, because gasoline is cracked out of an barrel of oil at the refineres. So if this is true, & with oil at $92. per barrel, why hasn't gasoline come down a lot more.Say like 99 cents a lite, right now. Well the story here is that the Refineries have not build any new refiners for over 20 years, & when there is an disaster, like a hurrican on the Gulf, the refiners do not have enought refining capacity to keep up to the demand. So why don't the big Oil Refiners simply build more Capacity,? they certaily have the money to do so.

Gas Price at Present., by Senzue reply  Aug 12, '08 12:29 AM
With the barrel of oil down to $112. a barrel why is it that gas at the pumps is as high as it is now, i figure it should be down to $1.10 at least by now, it seams to go up for any old reason, but take forever to come down, I have concluded that we only get all the peaks,& none of the valleys in gas prices in our area, because they take so long for them in our area,to lower the price, when it does go down.

About Prices in Simcoe, by Senzue reply  Aug 17, '07 9:28 PM
They are real sneaky about putting prices up & down here in Simcoe, Last Wensday was a good ex. they where as low as 92.2 the next morning they had them jack up to 96.6, since then they are a little lower, 95.6 today Firday. The thing is they can flash these prices up & down in a instance with these new Digital LED boards they have, so it's very hard to keep on top of the real time prices changes, the minute they chance, so make sure you are watching the posted dates real closely. Old posting are just that, old, & may not reperesent actual price by the time you get there two days later, or even a day later in Simcoe case.

Hurricanes Headed in to the Gulf., by Senzue reply  Aug 15, '07 7:59 PM
Fill up your gas tank if prices are low, in your area, Hurricanes are head in to the Gulf of Mexico,Oil companies Batten down your Oil rigs.

Closed stations!, by hummer451 reply  Feb 27, '07 12:39 PM
I guess if we can't get gas then I guess we can't go to work. This shouldn't happen that we must import gas from the US? We have the 2nd largest oil deposits in the world but the least amount of refineries or this wouldn't be happening. Where is the gov't to allow mimuim refineries to operate. It is just a ploy to keep supply to a minium therefore keeping the gas prices high. All a terriorts has to do is knock out the few refineries we have and cripple the province within a week. We can't operate without fuel. The oil companies are getting top price for the reserve fuel in storage and we are paying thru the nose!

Diesel Fuel, by skidooen reply  Nov 3, '05 9:41 PM
Ever since the $1.35 per litre Spike, around Labour Day I believe, Diesel Fuel went up to a $1 per litre and has pretty much remained there. Regular gas is now below .90 and Diesel is still sitting in the high .90s. What gives?
Diesel has historically always been a few cents cheaper than Regular. Any thoughts??

Thanks.

Gas price boycott, by Prosperous reply  Nov 1, '05 9:53 AM
Gas prices are impacting every American and even foreign countries. The oil Companies and Banks are taking in record profits and the public is suffering. Let's do something about it. Boycotting the Oil Companies will not work. We all need gas and petroleum products are in most of the products that we use. Let's boycott the economy for a few days in order that we may have a better economy for years to come. STOP SHOPPING. That is the answer. Do not buy cars, clothes, furniture, appliances, etc.. for about 10 days and demand that gas prices drop to $1.75 per gal. This price is at a level that the consumer has become accustomed to and clearly is a level at which the oil companies can make a fair profit based upon 2004 oil company profit statements. Let's organize for a better economy which will create a better work environment. For more information read an article titled "America, they are betting against you" at Prosperous10000.iblogs.com
May God give you the desires of your heart and make all of your plans succeed.

Gas Prices, by kmbaumpy reply  Oct 31, '05 10:15 AM
I see my boycot of PetroCan worked they have brought the price down to the $.75 mark

High Gas Prices, by kmbaumpy reply  Sep 14, '05 11:23 AM
WAKE UP CANADIANS It's plain to see that we are all being held up by the oil companies & that government doesen't want to help us The only way these big companies will react is if WE help ourselves If ALL CANADIANS STOP buying gas from at least 1 company they might get the message if their profits drop So I think we should all boycott PETRO CANADA until all companies reduce their prices to .75 per litre If all of us boycott them they will have to reduce their prices at the pump Lets show them we have had enough of their price gouging LETS DO IT CANADA

not all bandits wear masks, by termy reply  Aug 31, '05 8:43 PM
what get me is the fuel in the pumps was payed for weeks ago if not months ago ,but any reason up goes the price in an instant and always take weeks to fall again .now we are paying about $5.75 a gal we are being robbed

Hurricane Katrina, by pdoff reply  Aug 31, '05 3:00 PM
This is BS, 1.2?? / litre is a jump of .20 overnight! All the talk of the oil rigs etc in the gulf that are affected by the hurricane is pure price fixing BS. The supply will last long enough to not totally gouge us like that overnight. Thank god I have a company gas card! The government really needs to step in and do something about this, as we are now more than anywhere else in Canada.

Simcoe gas prices, by Coffee break reply  Jul 26, '05 1:16 PM
To whom it may concern
I report Gas prices because it helps to shop for Gas.I have been reporting most of Simcoe Gas prices.I only get to Simcoe once a week? That is not good enough.I need help.In the winter we go sometimes on vacation for 2 weeks or more hoping to go longer this year. I have requested for help before without a reply. It seams to me that it would be of great value to be able to share information between other reporters. All we need is a way to contact each other. Can this be organized in this small comunity of Delhi Simcoe Tilsonburg Brantford. These are all places were we shop we need someone in Branford badly. Some times it is reported but not often. You have my permission to give out me email address. But we should have all of them. I do not know who is who. I am going to Brantford in the morning. I think the price is about 4 cents cheaper than Delhi. I would like to know this. I am almost emty so I am looking at a free lunch at Tims if the Gas price is right. Please keep it going. I am hoping we can just get organized a bit better.
Best Regards
Mike Sloot
